Ever felt curious about meditation but not sure where to start or why everyone says it is good for you? Ever tried to practice but felt you were not 'good at it' or do not know how to do it on your own regularly without an App or a guide? Then this 'Learn to Meditate' course is for you!
In this 3-session course format, Anne will teach you the 1 Giant Mind Being meditation technique. This is a very approachable technique that is particularly effective at supporting us to quiet our busy minds, helping us reduce stress and release fatigue of the body; overall giving us powerful tools to better face the demands of the world!
The course consists of 3 sessions of about 90 minutes over 3 consecutive days. You will have 'homework' meditation practice in between the sessions. It is important that you can commit to joining the 3 sessions of the course as each session will build up from the previous one, unpacking more information about meditation, sharing your own experience and questions.
KEY CONTENT
- Intro to the nature of the mind, the mechanism of stress and impacts on our bodies/thoughts/behaviours
- Benefits of meditation and practical tips to build a daily practice
- Learn the 'Being' meditation technique, practice together as a group and practice on your own
- Discourse on the topic of Being, the importance of self-awareness and cultivating more fulfilment in our lives
The course will leave you with the knowledge and confidence to be an independent and self-sufficient daily meditator, accompanying you to keep growing into the most authentic and improved version of yourself!
The course includes ongoing support from Anne and the possibility to re-sit future meditation courses for free to refresh your knowledge and stay connected to your practice. It is a powerful investment in yourself, learning tools that will serve you for life and becoming part of a supportive community of meditators.
TIMEWednesday/Thursday/Friday 07:00-08:30. Attendance to the 3 sessions is required to complete the course.
ONLINE EVENT
This event is offered live online via Zoom. The link to access the sessions will be available 15min before each session via your Eversports account. Note that the live meditations and group sharing questions are key elements of this course, therefore the sessions are to be attended LIVE at the scheduled times.
