THE TOUCH

Marie-Sophie is coming back to Zurich to give a special 'THE TOUCH'.
Touch is the first sense we develop in the womb. Touch is the core of our being. Touch is always with us. Our hands are an extension of our heart. We are touch.
A lack of touch can lead to a sense of disconnection between body and mind. Learning to touch our own skin is a wonderful, deeply healing way to reconnect with who we are - in every single present moment. When we don't touch our own body, we don't perceive tension or numbness, which can lead to changes in the connective tissue (fascia) and cause long-term problems in our body and mind.
We all store our emotions in the tissues of our physical body. Emotion here literally means: energy in motion. Emotions are energies that need to be freely expressed and released so that they can flow out of the body. When we hold on to the past and past feelings, we hold on to the energy of the past. Once we are ready to release this past from our mind, we can release it from our body.
Both physical touch and movement are extremely helpful on this path. Through sustained stretches and impulses, we change the patterns in our connective tissue, the fascia.
