Workshop Description:

Discover the essence of mindfulness meditation in this 2-hour introductory workshop, designed for anyone curious about the practice and its everyday applications.

Together, we will explore:  

  • Foundational aspects such as finding the right posture for meditation and integrating meditation into your daily routine. 
  • Techniques like the body scan and breath awareness practices. 
  • Common myths and misconceptions, addressing questions such as what to do with wandering thoughts and how to navigate physical discomfort during meditation.  

You’ll have the opportunity to practice these techniques firsthand, but rest assured, we will not be meditating for the full two hours—this session is balanced with learning, exploration, and guided experiences. We’ll also discuss how to bring mindfulness into your daily life beyond formal meditation sessions, making it accessible and meaningful in everyday moments. 

Take-away from the workshop:

By the end of this workshop, you’ll be equipped with everything you need to meditate on your own. Participants will also receive a set of pre-recorded guided meditations to support their journey.  

About the Teacher:

Mindfulness has been a cornerstone of Daria’s life for the past decade, with a deepening daily practice over the last three years and 270 hours of formal training as a mindfulness meditation teacher. Daria spent a transformative month in Thailand immersed in intensive meditation practices, including a seven-day Vipassana silent retreat and another eight days assisting such a retreat as a meditation and yoga teacher.  

Daria incorporates mindfulness elements into her yoga classes and leads dedicated meditation sessions for groups and individuals, both online and in-person

With over 15 years of dedicated practice in yoga and meditation, Daria has undergone a profound personal transformation and witnessed the powerful impact these disciplines can have on others. She acquired her Yoga Teacher Certificate in San Francisco and her Meditation Teacher Certification in Thailand, sharing the practices of yoga and meditation across the world. Daria strives to create a nurturing space where students can explore the mind-body connection and cultivate inner awareness. Through her teaching, she empowers individuals to listen to their bodies, find inner strength, and engage with the world authentically. Daria's teaching embodies presence; she leads with groundedness, seamlessly incorporating mindfulness into her classes.
