For Vanessa, Yoga is about participation in life. Including the joyful and the difficult times- every moment as a part of it. You can’t change the past and the future is yet to come. The only time we have is the present moment. Yoga, from its philosophy, through pranayama practices, to the physical expression in asanas, is about being in the present moment with openness and curiosity. That’s why for her Yoga is about life itself: What is practiced on the mat becomes something that can be lived to the fullest in everyday life.
